The Wuyi Mountains are located in the border of Fujian and Jiangxi provinces of China. The mountain range is characterised by winding rivers, deep valleys, caves, steep slopes and flat top hills.

The environment in Wuyi mountain is exceptional. The unpolluted air and water, moderate temperatures and rainfall, volcanic rocks, are ideal conditions for tea plantation. Wuyi Oolong tea grown and produced here are some the best in the world.

Wuyi Tea Varieties
There are many varieties of tea bushes growing in Wuyi mountain. Some of the famous tea bushes are Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe), Shui Jin Gui (Golden Turtle), Ban Tien Yao (Middle Sky), Tie Luo Han (Iron Monk) and Bai Ji Guan (White Rooster). Out of all these, Da Hong Pao is the best Wuyi Oolong tea. It is also known as the Emperor of Tea or King of Tea.
