What is SafSlim?
SafSlim is a concentrated source of linoleic acid from safflower oil.

SafSlim and Belly Fat Loss
SafSlim contains high-linoleic safflower oil that has been shown to reduce belly fat and increase lean muscle.

A study was conducted to compare the effects of 2 dietary oils, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and safflower oil (SAF), on body weight, fat and composition in obese post-menopausal women with type 2 diabetes. These women were told not to change other behaviours (diet an activity).

Study findings at the end of 36 weeks:
CLA (8g/day) supplementation reduced total body fat and body mass index (BMI), with no changes in lean muscle.
SAF (8g/day) supplementation reduced trunk fat and increased lean muscle. SAF also lowered fasting glucose and increased adiponectin.

(Adiponectin is a hormone produced by fat cells to regulate lipid and glucose metabolism. It has anti-inflammatory and insulin- sensitizing effects. Obese or overweight people have low levels of adiponectin.)

Although the women did not lose weight on SAF, they lost over 1 kg of fat from the trunk region and gained about 1/2 kg of muscle without changing anything else.

SafSlim Ingredients
SAFActive78 high linoleic safflower oil, water, xylitol, glycerine, gum arabic, natural flavors, vegetable juice (for color), citric acid, xantham gum, guar gum, sorbic acid, vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopherol) & ascorbyl palmitate to ensure freshness.

SafSlim Dosage
1 tablespoon, twice a day, preferably before a meal. Can be taken on its own, or mixed into drinks, shakes or yogurt.

Can you take safflower oil softgels or safflower cooking oil instead?
Safflower oil softgels are available in 1,000 mg (or 1 g). So, you’d have to take 8 softgels a day to get 8 g, which is the amount used in the above study.

Safflower cooking oil is usually an oleic acid, a non essential fatty acids with a higher smoke point. A high linoleic acid safflower oil is not for cooking purposes, so has a low smoke point.

SafSlim provides a concentrated source of linoleic acid in just 2 tablespoons a day.
