Forskolin is one of the belly fat supplements featured on Dr Oz Show recently. Studies on animals and humans have shown that forskolin may aid weight loss.

How Does Forskolin Aid Weight Loss?

Forskolin increases fat burning through its effect on an enzyme. It has been found to break down fat while preserving lean body mass (muscle). The more muscle you have, the higher is your metabolism and fat burning.

It is crucial to take the optimal dosage of forskolin for weight loss. If you take anything less, it’d not be effective to burn fat. Dr Oz suggests taking 125 mg of standardized¬†20% Coleus Forskohlii extract (ie. 25 mg forskolin), once a day.
